We just got a new piano, like the one pictured, and now we need a piano bench (I like this one pictured).

new (to us) furniture

Nina and Samuel very generously gave us some of their old furniture they don't want any more... and we happily took it! Our home finally feels a bit more cozy, and we are using the reception room and den much more now that there is somewhere to sit. And how about those yellow sofas? Aren't they wonderful?

Our architect had a photographer come by to take a few photos of the house, and they just sent us the photos. Kind of fun to see our house photographed professionally.

Ivy's room is such a hodge-podge of stuff.... but I think it all works together. It's not too girlie, not too pretty... but still has a very feminine, whimsical feel. I would still love to buy some better furniture (a bigger bed, a better dresser, more storage) but for now it's okay. I really love her room (and she does too).
